SF cars and coffee -12/6

Postby onetwo » Thu Nov 20, 2014 8:30 am

SF cars and coffee - Saturday 12/6 8am-11am

Who's interested in checking this out?

There is supposed to be a Veyron and Porsche 918 in attendance, along with some really cool outlaw Porsche 911s.

Man, that sounds fun...but SF is far for me...not meaning to thread-jack, but there'll also be a Cars and Coffee event in Blackhawk/Danville.

Awwww. Come on Brian. Do you remember how many times I'd drive to Tony's house from Santa Rosa?

And that was for stupid BAMD events.

This should be much cooler. Plus no crazy estrogen there to spoil the mood.

I'm convinced you are going to have the first 1,000,000 mile Miata with as much as you drive it. Waiting for pics of your car on an African safari or something.

C'mon Brian, it's a 30 minute drive

What can I say... I enjoy driving.
24k on my car last year and my daily commute is from the living room to the home office.

The record for me was the first year with my 300z. I'm pretty sure I put about 36k on it for the first year.

Lots of SF to LA trips in that one.

And yes, Brian, you have one bridge to drive across.
Mary has to work, but hopefully my knee will be better by next Saturday.

Now, if we can just get T to join us (and maybe even Bill?) we'll be all set.

I might even throw the test pipe on the car, for good measure!

I shall be attending. Provided no rain.

What time will be the official NorCal meeting time?

Haha, Joe and Brian...you guys are funny. :P

I'll see what my availability this weekend. It'd be a nice change of venue for a C&C event.

What happened? Are you pursuing a career in UFC?

Short answer... I started falling apart after I hit my 40s.
Slightly longer answer... burned hand (from delicious navy bean soup) meant I had to start using one arm for everything... hence my sprained arm.

Though, training for UFC would be a much cooler story.

You need some safer leisure time activities. Like driving cars around race tracks.

Get better...

CNC site says rain or shine. I'm sure Veyron owners love showing off their cars in the rain. Because it is a VW Audi Group brand. He'll be hooning in the parking lot.

Weather is iffy according to those who say such things. I will make a game time decision too.
