Not Official At All ND Discussion

Postby billybobster » Wed Sep 03, 2014 8:15 pm

I thought it would be convenient to provide a central repository for Hot ND Chat.

Pending seeing it in person (Friday) I like it a lot.

My favorite of the Mazda official pix. Sexy.

Now, make one of these and I'll be really really

Here's some more shots, and the link to more: http://www.mazdausamedia.com/index.php? ... y&cat=2804

It's a bit more visually polarizing than previous models, as it seems they have gone more bold with it. But it seems to fit in pretty well with the rest of their current lineup. The rear looks somewhat Alfa Romeo-ish. The front is kinda Mazda-meets-BRZ. The profile made me immediately think of the F-Type.

Overall, I dig it. Too bad I still won't fit in the damn thing...

I like it. Looking forward to the Alfa/Fiat version as well.

It's making me home the price of a NC3 drops due to this and I can go buy a club sport PRHT for cheap.

Seconded. S2k mates with 09 MSP3 and has Ferrari California rear end? I'll pass. The new model makes the NC look like a super model in comparison. Supercharged NC3 here I come.

This are some good pictures taken by an Oklahoma attendee that to me gives the best view of a ND in context - on the road with people in it. This is during the drive by on Friday. The driveable ND went straight onto the transporter to go to NY for some thing. They showed a non-operating version (a typical practice in car development) at Laguna on Sat/Sun

I was surprised by how small it is - my impression was that only the NA is smaller.

To me, it looks better in person and I like how it looks in pictures.

I only saw the mockup. For some reason pictures don't do this justice. It's way better in person.

That looks pretty fly! I still like the NA more, and think that if I spent a third of what the ND will cost on a NA, I'd be much happier with the NA. But the ND is way nicer looking than the NC. I'll definitely give it a test drive when it gets to the dealerships.
happiness is a warm miata. . .

Nothing will replace the NA, IMO, but this is a good looking car.

This. I'm quite curious to see what they do with the styling and powertrain. If there's still a manual offered and it doesn't look like uber-buttocks, I may jump for the sister car instead.

If it ever materializes...

I would like to see the sister car. Italian styling has always been hit or miss for me. I find it hard to imagine that it could look much better than the ND but, you never know.

Hmmm. Interesting idea.

Welp, may as well wait for the NE3 Super 35.
