Ahhhhhhhhh quit your whining. Buy some shoes, get up earlier, and walk your ass to the train station. There's a station in Belmont so you have no excuse.

Ken, can you give clarification.
If going with type 3 with stock sliders, you will have the arm over the panel and won't rub. However, does it sits lower than factory? IF it does, by how much?

yes the arm will be over the top of the door panel. you will not sit any lower than stock, or maybe quarter of an inch. not enough to make a difference.

yeah, the type 3 does not fit well in the NB at all. I had to lop off about 3" and pound the tunnel in to get it to fit in mine.

a tiny bit. if you really want to go low, you need to ditch the factory sliders.

What slider will able to lower the seat significantly? I need to have a slider. Wifey drives the car too sometime.

None, if you need quick adjustability then you are stuck at near stock height on the rails. The GarageStar seat rails provide awesome adjustability, but it still requires you to remove the seat in order to shift it around - you might as well just keep the stock seat on sliders and swap seats when she wants to drive, but is it worth the hassle? I say go pick up another cheap miata so she can drive it :-)
