Why would this be a bad decision?

Because Italian electrics would be my guess. But a liberal application of megasquirt and a painless harness should fix that right up. Of course, you don't get the true Alfa experience that way...

Sure is a pretty car, though.

Same Ivan. I've never met the guy, only know the legend. I've seen so many of his cars for sale on craigslist that I just instantly recognize the house and that he always parks the cars on the grass.

Track built, race prepped, caged, turbo miata - $18000 (san mateo)

Image

This track prepared turbo miata has everything you need to create many smiles. I built it a few years ago and have only been able to use it about twice a year. Its built to last, has all the right parts and is ready to go. Literally a turn key race car.

2,275 wet weight w/ 145lb driver
250whp/260tq @ 14psi.

The decision to come to this is not easy. I just want someone to use because I'm not able to give it the love it deserves. If you intend to buy this and part it out please save us both time and don't bother contacting me.

Anyone who's built a real car from the ground up knows this is priced nearly 60% less than whats into it. Its a killer car at a killer deal and I guarantee after not running for almost a year it will start right up first try. Here is a rough list of whats into the car that I can think of. I'm sure there's more, including a wall covered in bins of spare parts.

NASCAR is mandating a digital dash for 2016

This is a picture from the NASCAR site (non-Photoshopped) of an earlier version of it. Guess what was changed?

Hopefully the cooling system...I mean, look how high that twat is! I know I don't really like a twat higher than 220 while it's taking a licking. But I'm old school, so my carb'd stuff gets 180* tstats and good radiators to keep tighter twat control.

Of course, the engine isn't running there, so the twat is probably all heat soaked. But still...

.

On a serious note, I kinda like the idea of coolant pressure monitoring. No, I haven't the slightest idea why.

We've got a low coolant pressure sensor on the LeMons car. Because temp can look OK while all the coolant is falling out. Ours is just a switch that turns on a very bright LED indicator right in the drivers face. Drivers are told "Red Light Means Stop NOW DAMMIT!"
